Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 June 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Streamstead. By using Streamstead, you agree to these terms.
Streamstead is operated by An Honest Day's Work Ltd.
Use of the service
Streamstead provides cloud-based livestream infrastructure. The service is intended for lawful use only.
You are responsible for all activity associated with your account, uploaded content, livestreams, and stream keys.
Content responsibility
You retain ownership of your uploaded content. However, you are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all necessary rights, licences, permissions, and authority required to upload, stream, distribute, or otherwise use your content through Streamstead.
You must not use Streamstead to transmit, distribute, or host content that is:
- Illegal or unlawful
- Infringing on intellectual property rights
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive
- Malicious or harmful to others
- Designed to interfere with or abuse infrastructure systems
Subscriptions and billing
Streamstead operates on a recurring subscription basis. Subscription fees are billed in advance and processed securely through Stripe.
Prices displayed on Streamstead may exclude applicable taxes, VAT, GST, sales taxes, or similar charges depending on your country, region, or business status. Applicable taxes are calculated during checkout where required.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents future renewals but does not automatically generate refunds for previous billing periods.
We reserve the right to change pricing, plans, storage limits, stream limits, or service features in the future with reasonable notice.
Business customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and tax information where applicable, including VAT or tax identification numbers.
Certain platform features, including livestream operation, uploads, encoding, stream control actions, and infrastructure access, may require an active paid subscription or valid trial period.
Streamstead subscription plans may include limits relating to livestream count, infrastructure access, storage, encoding, bandwidth, or platform functionality.
Subscription upgrades may take effect immediately. Downgrades, cancellations, or reductions in plan limits may take effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
Where a subscription downgrade results in an account exceeding the permitted livestream or infrastructure limits for the active plan, Streamstead may restrict the creation, restarting, replacement, activation, or modification of additional streams until usage falls within the applicable plan limits.
Existing livestreams, uploads, or infrastructure resources may remain temporarily active following a downgrade, cancellation, billing issue, or subscription change. Streamstead reserves the right to apply reasonable platform safeguards, infrastructure protections, or operational restrictions where necessary to maintain platform stability, reliability, fairness, or service availability.
Streamstead reserves the right to prevent abusive, excessive, automated, or repeated subscription changes, plan switching, trial creation, billing circumvention, or attempts to bypass platform or infrastructure limitations.
Service availability
Streamstead is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim to provide reliable infrastructure and continuous availability, uninterrupted service is not guaranteed.
Maintenance, infrastructure issues, provider outages, software errors, third-party failures, or unexpected events may occasionally result in downtime, interruptions, degraded performance, or temporary unavailability.
Streamstead does not guarantee uninterrupted livestream uptime, viewer retention, stream performance, or platform-specific availability.
Streamstead may use automated recovery systems, monitoring systems, restart mechanisms, infrastructure redundancy, or operational safeguards intended to improve platform reliability. Such measures are provided on a best-efforts basis and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of uninterrupted service, successful recovery, or continuous livestream availability.
User backups and content retention
Users are solely responsible for maintaining backups of uploaded content, media, stream assets, and related files.
Streamstead does not guarantee permanent archival storage, long-term retention, or recovery of uploaded content. Uploaded files, transcoded media, thumbnails, and temporary processing assets may be deleted during infrastructure maintenance, account inactivity, subscription expiry, storage cleanup, or operational processes.
Infrastructure and third-party providers
Streamstead relies on third-party providers and infrastructure services, including cloud hosting, object storage, authentication, and payment providers. We are not responsible for failures or disruptions caused by third-party systems.
No affiliation with third-party platforms
Streamstead is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by YouTube, Google, Twitch, or any third-party streaming platform.
Third-party platform changes, API restrictions, account suspensions, monetisation decisions, enforcement actions, service interruptions, or stream delivery issues are outside Streamstead's control.
Account suspension or termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at our discretion where necessary to:
- Protect infrastructure stability
- Prevent abuse or misuse
- Investigate suspected unlawful activity
- Respond to copyright or legal complaints
- Protect Streamstead, its users, or third parties
We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts created to bypass trial limitations, billing restrictions, subscription requirements, or platform safeguards.
Streamstead may limit or disable access to streaming, uploads, encoding, infrastructure controls, or other platform functionality where a subscription, trial, or billing status is inactive, expired, cancelled, or unpaid.
Fair usage and infrastructure protection
To protect platform reliability, security, and operational stability, Streamstead reserves the right to apply reasonable storage limits, upload restrictions, bandwidth protections, transcoding limits, concurrency limits, rate limits, or other infrastructure safeguards where necessary.
Excessive, abusive, harmful, or unusually high usage may result in temporary restrictions, throttling, suspension, additional charges, or account termination.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Streamstead and An Honest Day's Work Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Loss of revenue, profits, viewers, audience, or business opportunities
- Loss of data, uploads, or livestream continuity
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Third-party platform actions, restrictions, or bans
Your use of Streamstead is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Streamstead and An Honest Day's Work Ltd arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer to Streamstead during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
No warranties
Streamstead makes no warranties or representations regarding uninterrupted availability, uptime, compatibility with third-party platforms, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, data retention, or expected business outcomes.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
Beta and experimental features
Certain features, workflows, or tools may be identified as beta, preview, experimental, or early access features. These features may be modified, suspended, removed, or experience instability without notice.
Changes to the service
Streamstead is an evolving platform. Features, pricing, limits, workflows, and infrastructure may change over time as the platform develops.
Force majeure
Streamstead shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, failures, or inability to provide services resulting from events outside reasonable control, including infrastructure outages, cloud provider failures, cyberattacks, internet disruptions, natural disasters, labour disputes, governmental actions, power failures, or third-party service interruptions.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of Streamstead after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Streamstead.
