Information we collect
We collect information you provide when using Streamstead, including your email address, account details, uploaded video files, stream names, YouTube stream keys, billing status, and usage information related to your streams.
How we use your information
We use your information to operate Streamstead, authenticate your account, process payments, assist in managing and delivering livestreams, provide support, improve the service, analyse platform usage, monitor infrastructure reliability, prevent abuse, and keep the platform secure.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Streamstead does not store your full card details. Stripe may process payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Billing addresses, country information, and applicable tax or VAT details may be collected during checkout for billing, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance purposes.
Uploaded content and stream keys
Uploaded videos and stream keys are used to provide the streaming service. Stream keys are used only to operate livestreams that you configure within Streamstead.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their YouTube accounts, stream keys, and connected third-party platform credentials. While Streamstead takes reasonable steps to protect account information, no online platform, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Service providers
We use trusted third-party providers to operate Streamstead, including hosting, storage, authentication, payment processing, and infrastructure services. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.
These providers may include cloud hosting providers, object storage providers, authentication services, payment processors, analytics providers, monitoring tools, email delivery providers, and infrastructure services.
Data storage
Streamstead may store data using cloud infrastructure located in the UK, EU, or other regions depending on the providers used. We take reasonable steps to protect your data and limit access to what is necessary.
These providers may include cloud hosting providers, object storage providers, authentication services, payment processors, email delivery providers, analytics providers, monitoring tools, and infrastructure services.
Data retention
Streamstead retains account information, billing records, uploaded content metadata, usage information, and operational logs for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, maintain security, and enforce agreements.
Uploaded files, transcoded media, thumbnails, temporary processing files, and stream-related data may be deleted after account closure, subscription expiry, prolonged inactivity, storage cleanup, or operational maintenance.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you upload and stream through Streamstead, including ensuring you have the rights and permissions required to use that content.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. Some information may need to be retained for legal, billing, security, or operational reasons.
International transfers
Depending on the infrastructure providers used, personal data may be processed or stored outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where applicable, Streamstead takes reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
